Less is More Week 6

The challenge this week at Less is More is to make a one layer card with the theme "off the edge." Additionally, no scoring is allowed.

I used PTI Floral Frenzy to stamp flowers in two corners. Then I used a fine point Sharpie to draw a box. I followed Susan Rahaila's suggestions from the Simplicity blog. My lines NEVER look as neat and clean as hers do, but I keep trying! :) I stamped a sentiment from PTI's Mega Mixed Messages inside the box.

I experimented a bit with different color combinations. I like the yellow and orange best.

Supplies:
Stamps: PTI Floral Frenzy, PTI Mega Mixed Messages
Ink: All Memento except for the orange, which is Colorbox
Paper: PTI

Gorgeous cards, and thank you for the link to Susan's tutorial on drawing borders, and I will have to give this a go, looks great and a lot eaiser then the way I do it. Looking back at the layout of your cards I think I prefer the 1st one, the flowers have 'punch' excellent.

Wow! I love all of these. There's something particularly satisfying somehow about those broken lines part surrounding the images. I think I must give that a try.

Now then what a great choice from a set of super cards, I bend towards the pink and orange and I would have loved it even more if instead of the pale pink it had been a lime green.

Thanks for your comments.
